My brother texted me and I dropped what I was doing and downloaded it so fast I think the electrons in the network got hurt!
Looks great, esp. on the iPad, having a play now.
Thanks!

Re: Your email server is misconfigured
I've sent you a PM. Hi Nora - fixed! Sent you details via return PM. Essentially Safari was using saved filled form data and filling in wrong coupon value (overwriting the one you advised which I was copy/pasting in) so I kept getting error message on Esellerate website. Thanks again for your kind ...

Re: Your email server is misconfigured
If you only want to update one (or two) of the programs then go to the store , add DVDpedia to your cart enter your personal info followed by UPDATEFIVE in the coupon field. You can press the 'Update Cart' button after that to make sure that the correct discount was applied. I follow your instructi...

Re: Your email server is misconfigured
Sigh... I put in my old serial number for DVDpedia, click register and it says the serial number is for an old version and I have to upgrade and the upgrade button appears. OK. It takes me to the Esellerate website, there is listed all three of the pedia programs I have bought, I only want to upgrad...

Re: Your email server is misconfigured
I will send you the details of the mail failure email by PM, I am also checking the mailhop server. Re: the point about putting in the old serial number to make the upgrade button come up - hmmm it is obviously not logically apparent to do that. I think you would have to agree. The new version shoul...

Your email server is misconfigured
When I attempt to email you your email server rejects the email. Your server is demanding that the sending domain must have a valid SPF record — no it does not have to. SPF is not a mandated, or even fully worked out, Internet standard and is not required by RFCs - in fact the relevant experimental ...

Re: DVDpedia 4.5.4 - Add disk no collection id assigned
That fixed it. The checkbox option 'Increment automatically for new additions' was not ticked by default. Is/was it turned off during one of the updates?

DVDpedia 4.5.4 - Add disk no collection id assigned - No bug
Hi - I haven't added any disks for a while to DVDpedia and have applied a couple of software updates in that period.
I just added two disks and it seems that no Collection ID number is assigned to the disks when they are added. They go to the beginning of my collection. Is this a known problem?

Re: DVDpedia V4.2, Coverflow, direction of DVDpedia
Thank you for the feedback. I understand what you mean with the deceleration of the animation towards the end. With the scroll bar we thought about it, and found it functional for release especially sorted by title as you can tell where you are in a collection (the scroll wheel helps with fast scro...

Re: Multiple Genre/Language/etc. entries
In the worst case scenario it can be done with one SQL command with the Terminal on the database file directly. Done - no problems. Always remember to make a backup copy of your Database.pediadata file before you start! Backups? Ah... c'mon live dangerously. "Back up my hard drive? How ...

Re: Multiple Genre/Language/etc. entries
In the meantime use the comma as a separator as that way if we change the field "Crime, Drama" will automatically become two tags, as comma is the native separator for token fields. Re: my recent posting and your point above. If I have many (and we're talking hundreds) of movies where I h...

DVDpedia V4.2, Coverflow, direction of DVDpedia
Hi Conor Just upgraded to 4.2 - saw new version in MacUpdate RSS feed so loaded it up straight away! Well done with CoverFlow view, it's quite snappy (well I am using a Mac Pro) and nice to use. One comment (and this is not by way of complaint but encouragement :D ) it would be nice if the coverflow...

MacUpdate talking about version 3.5 of DVDpedia??
The MacUpdate site lists DVDpedia with an upgrade to version 3.5 but the Bruji website lists 3.4.4 not 3.5?

Re: [DVDpedia] Feature Requests Poll
Here's my vote on the list... [High] Change from XML data store to embedded SQL database (i.e. SQLite) (High because for many of the structural changes which may be needed to take DVDpedia forward, going to a database back-end sort of becomes inevitable) [Medium] Fields - add field for movie title i...

Re: [DVDpedia] Feature Requests Poll
FromOZ, is this what you had in mind? I had to add the item #s back in manually as when your post is quoted they are represented by an asterisk. Yep - that's it basically. The asterisk is used in BBCode (see http://www.bruji.com/forum/faq.php?mode=bbcode#7) to make a numbered ordered list, like thi...
