Re: To ISO or not to ISO
Rip to ISO is much better. It's can be larger than 4GB if you do not want to burn DVDs and you only deal with 1 file. Once you have the ISO on your hard drive, you can mount it virtually and you have access to all the VOBs in the Video-TS folder. The Virtual Daemon manager V 4.10 does that for you. ...

Re: DVDpedia update problem
Great. I'm back to 4.1 and it works fine. I'll wait until 4.2 is fixed to update. Thanks for the 4.1 link. It''s amazing, but we can't live without DVDPedia!

Re: DVDpedia update problem
I have the same problem. After upgrade, app will just flash icon quickly in the power bar at bottom, but does not start. Can you put 5.1 back for us to download while we wait for fix?

That did it
Thank you, that did it for me! I just found another small bug in DVDPedia 4.1.1 and am reporting it to the report side.

Search of a movie across multiple collections
My movies are grouped into different selections. My DVDPedia database is created by "importing" different collections. In Full Screen mode, the movies are displayed for a given selection and a search only searches this particular collection, but not the other collections in the database. C...

Use Enter
That's fine. I'll just use the "enter" when in menu mode. That does play the movie.

Movie with multiple DVD, Apple remote and mouse control
My goal is to use only the Apple remote with the Mac mini to watch movies. For movies with multiple DVDs, for example a movie with 3 DVDs, I link all three ISO and their corresponding VIDEO_TS folders to the same single entry in the DVDPedia database. In full screen mode, when I am pointing to that ...

Is this movie on line?
That's a feature I think will make DVDPedia the Top of the Heap! The way I define my collections is that each of my collection contains all the ISO images on one USB hard drive. So I name my hard drive and the collection the same way. Say I have USB1 and USB2, each one with 100 ISO movies. My databa...

Full screen mount ISO and Play
Here is something I would love to be able to do, and need some help: My movies are stored as ISO images. For each entry in DVDPedia database, I make two links: one to the ISO image on the disc and one to the corresponding VIDEO_TS folder. These links appear in the View display. To play a given movie...

Database and collections
These are information that are nice to know. Is there a user manual for DVDPEdia describing this somewhere? I found a bug in the full screen/view display and am reporting it on the bug report side. Meanwhile, it will be VERY nice if the full screen displays the name of the collection that is being p...

Multiple external drives and DVDPedia
I have a question/request that would fit in this thread (and also that of powertowerpro, a post on Aug 30, 2007.) This is related to the databases used by DVDPedia and how it links to the DVD images on different hard drives. I have several hard drives each containing many ISO files. Let me use an ex...
