Last April, I was able to get the covers of my French books, but not anymore now. I found this topic and choose "Amazon Test" and, after having scanned the ISBN and got the details of the book, I've been able to retrieve the cover.

The new version of Bookpedia and DVDpedia is not working any more with my iPhone. As I can't find a new version of Pocketpedia on the swiss app store, I'm stuck. What can I do ?

Personally, I find Pocketpedia a great app. And now, it's able to sort all my books by author, than title, a must to avoid having two or three exemplars of the same book over years ! Indeed, the update erased all my previous entries. I hope it erased them and did not leave them on my iPhone, prevent...

Nice to hear it's coming, but, with 288 books in my SF collection, I desperately need it being sorted by author, than title to be able to browse through it more comfortably in a book store.

A very stupid question, but would it be possible to put a list of books with covers on an iPhone. The only way I've found till now is to be connected to the Internet and read the html file I've uploaded on my .Mac account.

Personally, I'm using a Sony PC-110 with FireWire as the built in iSight of my MacBook Pro still doesn't work.

Soupir... sigh. The problem with the new iSight on the MacBook Pro is very annoying.

I solved it by attaching my Sony miniDV camcorder trough FireWire and it's working very efficiently. It helps waiting for a more elegant solution.

Version 4.0.4 dosen't work either with the built-in iSight for bar code scanning.

But, there is a but, one can still capture full color cover art with it. Funny enough.

When scanning bar code, the iSight gives a black and white image and out of focus.
