Re: TV – Apparently It's All the Rage

Hello, This is the same problem everyone else has been having. TVRage changed their website layout, which broke the way the plugin gathers information for the episodes. Until I get a chance to rewrite the parser for the info, the plugin will not work. I've been considering rewriting it to use the [u...

Re: TV – Apparently It's All the Rage

Ah, I knew there was something I had forgotten since writing the plugin.

Thanks for the offer of help. I don't think it should be much harder than creating the original plugin, I just have less time available since it's the middle of the semester instead of the middle of summer. :)

Re: TV – Apparently It's All the Rage

I'm aware that the error exists. It's a problem with my web host, and I'm trying to get it sorted now. To get it installed, click on this link: dvdpedia://www.bruji.com/download?extras/tvrage.zip The custom tags are not used in order to gather the title. All the information is gathered, then the for...

Take a look at this thread for a plugin to deal with TV episodes.

Re: TV – Apparently It's All the Rage

My initial guess would be that Pocketpedia doesn't sync the custom field titles, just the data inside the fields. I'm not sure if that's something I can add to a plugin, but I'll take a look into that tomorrow when I can get access to an iPhone.

Re: TV – Apparently It's All the Rage

A good way you can do it now is to manually enter the abbreviation you want in the title format instead of using the series tag. You'll have to remember to change it for every series, and you will need to reimport everything you already have, but you can get your abbreviated title easily (without di...

Re: TV – Apparently It's All the Rage

[quote]I haven't dug around on the TVRage site enough to see which would be the most logical. It would be nice to have the abbreviation for some shows, but I wouldn't want to use the Terminal command to "find and replace" it EVERYWHERE. I would just want it replaced in the Title field of t...

Re: TV – Apparently It's All the Rage

Although Conor is right with the first suggestion, there may be a way I could implement the second. I would have to put in the abbreviation as it was grabbing information, and you would have to reimport the information for your TV Shows, but it could be possible to get an abbreviation. I would need ...

Re: How to handle TV Episodes

Here's what I do: Folder: TV ---Folder:Stargate ------Collection:SG-1 ------Collection:Atlantis Each of the collections is excluded from the main library, and each episode is ripped to a separate file. This lets me easily add information specific to each episode, and at the same time keeps the datab...

Import Pics from Front Row

I've made a program which will scan your DVDPedia database and automatically add the pictures from your Front Row collection. For now it has a few limits 1. It only works for DVDs ripped to VOB. (If you don't play the movie from the VIDEO_TS folder, it won't work) 2. It only imports from Front Row t...
