Yeah, I can see how iOS7's UI design overhaul could complicate things.
OK, thanks for the information.

PocketPedia: Deprecated iOS6 support
I have an older device that doesn't support iOS7, and it serves all of my needs, except for one... I can no longer use the latest version of PocketPedia. When I tried to update my PocketPedia to the latest version, I discovered that it couldn't be done because iOS6 is no longer supported. I am wonde...

Ports to non-Apple platforms?
I have been using both the desktop and mobile *Pedia's for a few years now and have been very happy with the experience. However, I am thinking about switching away from Apple for my mobile devices. So I'm going to throw this out there as a general question... is there any possibility that the *Pedi...

Re: Pocketpedia3 lost all cover images on iOS6 upgrade
Ah, thanks Nora, that explains it.
It's also good to know that there is a way to do a full resync without re-installing the app.
It's probably good that the backup doesn't include cover images, as that is a very large amount of data.

Pocketpedia3 lost all cover images on iOS6 upgrade
I'm not sure if anyone else has experienced this problem, but figured I should report it anyway. I am using Pocketpedia3 on an iPhone 3GS. When I updated the iPhone from iOS5 to iOS6, my Pocketpedia collection data remained intact, but all cover images were missing. It might be worth noting that the...

Re: 5.0 is here!
Good news. Thanks for the clarification, Nora!Nora wrote:@DAK - We haven't changed anything about the way the sync works with version 5 and Pocketpedia so you shouldn't have any trouble with the update.
I'll upgrade to v.5 soon. Looking forward to it.

Re: 5.0 is here!
1. If I test it and don't like it, can I go back to the previous version hassle-free? From http://www.bruji.com/beta "Version 5 uses a new database structure so use this new version exclusively from now on to avoid confusion. Your current data file will be copied and updated when you run this ...

Re: 5.0 is here!
Good stuff! Before upgrading, I have a rather important (to me) question: Will version 5 of the *Pedias continue to work with PocketPedia2? I ask this because the notes for the beta of version 5 stated that the *Pedias now use a new database structure. The mobile app is really important to me, and I...

4.6.0 works with PocketPedia2?
Just to be clear, before I commit to an update...
Will this update (v.4.6.0) of *Pedias continue to work with PocketPedia2? That's one piece of functionality that I would hate to do without.

Re: PocketPedia 2 is in the App Store!
DVDpedia does not keep a tag for each field from where the information came from. It uses the URL field that links back to Amazon to determine that at some point some of the information came from Amazon. It then does not sync all the details for that entry to respect the term of agreement with Amaz...

Item counts on folders
I am currently using BookPedia for a library/collection of several thousand books, and have been pretty happy with it so far. I would like to make a suggestion... I use folder capability with a dozen or so collections. When item count is turned on, the count is displayed only for the collections. It...
