Re: Pocketpedia: adjust info displayed in list view
Hi Connor, Thanks for your quick reply (and sorry about my late one). 1. Would it be an idea to add a dedicated "Pocketpedia" tab in the settings of the Mac version? (This might also have the side effect to promote Pocketpedia in case someone using the Mac version is not aware that it exis...

Pocketpedia: adjust info displayed in list view
Hi guys, I haven't been here in a while because everything has been running smoothly with DVDpedia. (Thanks!! :D ) Recently, I got my very first iPhone and, of course, had to get Pocketpedia, too. Last week I had to stay in hospital a few days and was glad I had my complete DVD database with me so I...

Re: DVDpedia 5.0.3 - sub-sorting
Hi Conor, Thanks for your quick response! This is totally great. I followed your suggestion and now the movies are sorted correctly. Weird, though, because I'm really sure that I entered the movies in the order of their collection ID. That is why I never even considered re-setting the purchase date....

DVDpedia 5.0.3 - sub-sorting
Hi, I thought I'd check with you on a sub-sorting issue which I've been working with for quite some time now: Sometimes I buy box sets with multiple movies and they are assigned the same collection ID but with different part numbers. For example, I bought a Doris Day collection with four movies: Tit...

Re: DVDpedia does not retain last position
Hi Conor,
Thanks a lot for that! I just tried the beta and ran a few tests. Indeed, looks like it's fixed now and the last selected movie is selected when opening DVDpedia.
You made an old man very happy
Totally brilliant!

DVDpedia does not retain last position
Hi Nora and Conor, I noticed that DVDpedia doesn't remember my last position in the database anymore. Every time I open DVDpedia, the very first movie in the main library is selected. I remember that in previous versions DVDpedia defaulted to the collection and movie I had selected when shutting dow...

Re: DVDpedia 4.5.5: HTML export problem
Just for the benefit of others who might have the same problem with legacy templates: Conor solved the problem. I still had the meta tag <meta name="uidNaming" content="yes" /> in my main export template. This tag should only be in the details template. Once I deleted this from m...

Re: DVDpedia 4.5.5: HTML export problem
Well, changing the uidNaming meta tag to "title" instead of "yes" isn't very useful for my purpose, and I've always had the PageSplit meta tag on 50000 anyway. It looks as if the export was ignoring the BeginRepeat and EndRepeat tags in the main template and exported only the fir...

DVDpedia 4.5.5: HTML export problem
Hi Conor and Nora, I've encountered a bit of an interesting problem with the HTML export feature in DVDpedia 4.5.5: I'm using a self-made template for exporting collections in order to create sub pages to a main index page with all movies in my library. In earlier versions this template created only...

Re: DVDpedia: folder not refreshed when collections in it change
Hi Nora, Thanks for getting back to me about this. This is what I do: I've got a folder named "SciFi & Fantasy" which contains these two smart collections: SciFi "Collection ID" does not contain "TV" (this caters for my specific numbering system) "Format" ...

Re: DVDpedia: folder not refreshed when collections in it change
Hi again, Conor, Yesterday I added some new DVDs to the library and then (at last!) tested the refresh in the latest version (4.5.4) of DVDpedia. Unfortunately, the folders still do not refresh automatically when a smart collection inside a folder changes. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Thanks for...

Hi Conor,
Sorry about the late reply. I downloaded the beta but haven't had time to check it out yet. However, knowing you, I'm sure it works perfectly
Thanks again and take care!
