I did previously see this option, but when I selected it the value didn't show up in the status. However, I've since found out that I needed to actually exit the application for this change to take effect. You may want to have an "Apply" button or make the changes when the preferences pane...

It would be nice to add a "total" value statistic to the "statistics" function. Given the list of book values, it would interesting to see the total for a given library.
