everything is working... it looks like choosing import from the menu didnt work but double clicking the file with dvdpedia open fixed it... i can be happy logging movies again... thanks for all the quick help as well team!

i just backuped my collection from dvdpedia... its about 96meg the library.dvdpedia file I then formatted my machine and put snow leopard on it. reinstalled dvdpedia and tried importing the collection. It says "adding cover art" and seems to find all 2000 or so movies then does nothing... ...
