Apple Silicon
I guess this qualifies as a feature. Are you planning to support Apple Silicon on the new Macs? It would be a really nice feature!

Book/CD/DVD Pedias on Apple Silicon?
I may not have used the magic search terms for the forum, but I did try. I am about to get a new M1 Mac of some description or other and would like to know in advance if the Pedias run on "Apple Silicon". (The description on MacUpdate said "Intel", which is my current Mac running...

Wi-Fi Barcode Scanners
I am considering gettin a Wi-Fi enabled barcode scanner to use with my DVD & CD collections. I have seen several on Amazon that seem reasonably priced, but I don’t know whether DVD/CD Pediatric are compatible with “generic” scanners or whether there are only a few which have been qualified. I us...

Re: iPhone apps revisited
Amazon says the person to write to is, I kid you not, Jeff Bezos. I have not bothered. I suppose I should have written, but I find it difficult To take any company seriously which has the CEO as the only point of contact. JeffBezos@amazon.com Have fun. {Edit] P.S. I have not bothered to write Mr. Be...

Re: iPhone apps revisited
Alex, I need some sort of app to carry around my list of DVDs & etc. I don't know what timeframe you have in mind for pocketpedia...sooner would be better :-)...but is there any way to export the DVDpedia database as a text based document or anything else in the mean time? How about posting a po...

Re: Pocketpedia2
Connor,
Would it be possible to have DVDpedia output a list of titles which could then be used in a utility or "server" (on the user's Mac) version of Pocketpedia to access sources other than Amazon and then sync the results to the "client" (iPhone) version of PocketPedia?

Re: Pocketpedia2
I must be missing something. What is wrong with having a read only version of PocketPedia for the iPhone so that you can have access to your list of things when shopping. That would not require access to Amazon at all. When you enter the new purchases to your Mac, you simply update/sync and you have...

Re: DVDpedia: add search for TCM.com?
Connor,
Thanks for the explanation. It is too bad that TCM does not provide the APIs, though.

DVDpedia: add search for TCM.com?
I have found that Turner Classic Movies frequently has information for searches that are "misses" with DVDpedia searching Amazon.com and others. Is it possible to add TCM as an additional search field?
Thanks

Re: Find missing DVDs
karld,
Could you explain things a little more? I must be missing something here. Just exactly what do you mean by a "missing DVD" that you are looking for in DVDPedia?
Cheers,
Richard

Conor,
Could you possibly post a screen shot? I can not seem to find the item to which you refer.
Thanks,
Richard

Re: Data entry
Conor, "Pick a key, any key". All kidding aside, my original comment about the tab key was simply because hitting the tab key moves you from column one on the line to column two. When you hit it again, it moves you to column one of the very same line (point of origin). The expected behavio...

Data entry
When manually adding actors to the credits in DVDpedia it is necessary to hit the "+" button at the bottom of the page to make a new line active. I can then enter the actor's name and hit the tab key on my keyboard which moves it to the column for the name of the character, but if I hit th...
