Re: [PocketPedia] Scan barcode and mark as borrowed
Hi, here are some barcodes I tried to scan: 9 782266 106993 (Sourcellerie, from Terry Pratchett), 9 782264 035516 (Azazel, from Boris Akounine), 9 782266 091343 (Trois Sœurcières, from Terry Pratchett). All of them are correctly recognized by the iSight in Bookpedia. What can I expect about automati...

[PocketPedia] Scan barcode and mark as borrowed
1) Currently, when I want to mark a book as borrowed, I have to go to my library, then edit the right book, mark it as borrowed and select the right person. I think that it could be nice to have a button allowing to scan the barcode of the borrowed book, then to select to person. 2) Moreover, when I...

Re: Pedia Server
Because my laptop is not always at home; I often leave it at work without access to my local network. And sometimes I want to add books on my laptop, sometimes on my desktop so the database must be reachable from both computers even if there are in different places. So, the use of a SQL server is ma...

Pedia Server
Hi, Like many other people, I own two Mac and my Pedias are installed on both. Thus, I have many synchronization problems, to keep both machines up-to-date, because I want to be able to add (or remove) items either on my laptop or on my desktop. The first step to solve this problem was to writing a ...

Re: Sync- mac to mac
I'm working on a command-line synchronization tool in Python, for all of the Pedias (Book-, CD-, DVD- and Gamepedia). However, it is still requiring to have both Pedia databases available on volumes on the local machine, like a SMB- or AFP-shared directory. Everything is working well, but I need to ...

Highlight collections with a given book
In Address Book, you have a very interesting feature, which can be seen by selecting any contact and then press the ALT key: all groups to which this contact belongs are highlighted.
I think that it could be great if this small feature was implemented in *pedias.

Re: Issues with SQLite timestamps
I've finished my synchronization tool (actually, in Python) for Bookpedia databases, but I've a new question :) I somebody is interested, I could try to extend it to other pedias :) I don't not understand the exact meaning of the Z_OPT field which can be found in the database... Have I to synchroniz...
