Hey there, Using CDPEDIA: I am wanting to move all info from a custom field into a standard field (somewhere along the line I started using a custom field for entering Catalogue info when I should have been using the standard Catalog # ). Is there a script or functionality that i am not aware of do ...

Re: Confusion with Dog Tags, Artists and Titles CD
Thanks Alex this works well, and I am now working through my vinyl. The duplicate feature is also nice and works well. Thanks again.

Re: Confusion with Dog Tags, Artists and Titles CD
Hi Alex, thanks for the reply. Yes I would be interested in Vinyl being separated from other formats, as I am buying a bit at the moment, some released on Vinyl only. What I meant by comment quoted below, is that from reviewing or moderating some entries, other DogHouse users are also entering makin...

Re: Confusion with Dog Tags, Artists and Titles CD
Hi Alex, thanks for the reply and I probably agree, but I may have awoken the nerdy collector in me, especially with the introduction of the online library. You may want to consider the distinction in the future as the release of special editions in vinyl that do differ from cd seems to be common, a...

Re: Confusion with Dog Tags, Artists and Titles CD
Hi Alex thanks for this. A couple of questions. If, as is the case the recording is old vinyl and doesn't have a matching UPC or ASIN and these are blank (which most of them are) will the entry match to the closest in DogHouse thus giving me the wrong entry, i.e. mine is vinyl the doghouse is CD. If...

Re: Library not syncing correctly (wrong items in my collect
Hey guys further to the above discussion, is there a solution to ensuring that Dog House provides a different Dog Tag for variations of the same album. e.g. CD and Vinyl or as mentioned above re issues that are slightly different but have the same title and artist

Confusion with Dog Tags, Artists and Titles CD
Hey there, I have been reviewing my Library on line and have noticed that every now and then there is a CD in the Library I don't have e.g. Wrecking Ball - Emmylou Harris Dogtag #11217. The CD attached to this Dog Tag in my CDpedia is Wrecking Ball - Bruce Springsteen. So when I remove the tag in CD...

Staus Field
Hey there,
What is the Status field used for, if at all, for Albums. Currently no one has either "flagged" or "approved" an album. And possibly related, when does an entry become "fully moderated"?
Thanks Chris

Re: Release Date and Original Release Date
Hi Conor, thanks for the reply. I am using both "Release Date" fields in CDpedia as I'm not a fan of adjusting the title, but I do see the complexity for you in keeping this simple at this point. In terms of formatting maybe as you suggested or "Wish You Were Here: (Remastered). In CD...

Release Date and Original Release Date
Hey there Conor, with CD now being re released in box sets, re masters etc, have you thoughts on adding an extra field in Dog House, to accommodate two release dates, the original release date and the subsequent release date. Good example might be the super deluxe release of Exile on Main Street, wh...

Hi all,
thanks for your response on this. I have copied and pasted which while a little time consuming got the job done.
Thanks again

Re: Copying Links across multiple entries
Thanks Alex,
I am wanting to change, update and add info in the Links page. So while your solution works for the Extra area it doesn't deal with what I am after.
Thanks
Chris
