That is super odd. I have a 4.8 version export that works great in Chrome: http://www.twoevils.org/html/mygames/
Does that link work for you, Conor? If so, could you PM me a link to an export that you have? Thanks!

Re: MyFancyIndex HTML export not working in Chrome
That is odd; I've tested it on my Chrome here at home and everything seems to be working fine. Does it work with an unmodified FancyIndex export? It's possible you modified the JavaScript or HTML and Chrome got confused.

Re: FancyIndex search performance
Just trying to be a good citizen! Without your guy's awesome software to begin with, I wouldn't have the ability to create such a cool template. I'm just happy to see that it is useful enough to become so popular. I occasionally will do Google searches just to look at people's fun movie, music, game...

Re: FancyIndex search performance
BTW Conor, I don't check the forum probably as often as I could. If issues come up with FancyIndex in the future and I seem to be absent, feel free to shoot me an email and I'll hop on to take a look at it.

Re: FancyIndex search performance
That is quite unusual. When I work on FancyIndex, I test with a database containing over 10000 rows and have acceptable search performance. For some reason, the export you have there uses an old version of the Javascript that is included with the FancyIndex template. It is much, much slower at searc...

Re: Two FRs: Import from Web Page / Find and Replace
Those recipe programs all generally have built-in parsers for sites specifically coded -- and therefore frequently updated -- or they have you copy the text to your clipboard and then let you import from your clipboard. You can then select each individual section, and it imports it for you. My partn...

Re: FancyIndex: Seeking template feedback
BTW, thanks for featuring FancyIndex on the home page of the Pedia softwares. :) You may want to update here: http://bruji.com/extras/ Which shows FancyIndex (you have an extra space) only having DVDPedia and Gamepedia exports. You may also want to update: http://bruji.com/extras/fancyindex.html Bec...

Re: (solved) FancyIndex Export's Errors
Good catch, Conor. You don't generally need that for AJAX page loads (since it takes the charset of the calling page), but I guess I hadn't thought about the Pedia exports reading that in.
You may want to look through the other templates -- iPhoneGroupedDetails.html, for example, uses iso-8559-1.

Re: FancyIndex Export's Errors
FancyIndex itself specifies UTF-8 as the character encoding, so I don't know what the issue would be with the template itself. Do the other templates produce a similar error?

Re: FancyIndex: Seeking template feedback
The changes that Conor gave you shouldn't have dropped the entirety of the CSS formatting. It's like it isn't being loaded at all.

These seems a bit spammy to me, especially since it's the first post from a user. Personally, I just use Handbrake, which is free, and does the same thing.

Re: Sequential Numbering
If you go in any collection, you can see the total number of items in the collection, how many are borrowed, how many are wanted, and what their total value is. It's at the very bottom of the window.

Re: Editor in Gamepedia - and templating websites
Oh, also, if you're not seeing fields that weren't there originally, when you edit an entry, make sure to click the "Show All" button, in the lower left hand corner of the entry. That will show all the empty fields.

Re: Editor in Gamepedia - and templating websites
The different Pedia softwares have different fields available to edit. Games - as far as I know - don't have editors per se, in the same way that movies do. They have Publishers and Developing companies, and, occasionally, you might know the Lead Programmer. That said, if you want an Editor field av...

Re: FancyIndex: Seeking template feedback
Awesome... thanks, Conor. I really appreciate it. I think the biggest reason that the RSS feed and FancyIndex don't go well together is that FancyIndex is designed to have one single huge (but dense) page with everything on it, and then the individual objects loaded on separate pages. But when you d...
