Thanks FineWine for the follow up.
As long as the subfolders show the correct count that's OK.
This is to be expected with a new OS release.
Cheers!

Re: DVDpedia 7.0 Beta 307 odd number count
Confirmed that it is happening in all apps. FineWine could expand your explanation of "Drag any sub-collections into it their count is accurate." I create a test collection and tried to drag it into a folder but the odd number count remains. Could you provide a step by step on how to imple...

Re: MacOS Sequoia
I have updated to macOS Sequoia and I am running version 7 beta of Bookpedia, CDpedia and DVDpedia.
While I haven't done some intense editing in these apps, I can confirm they all launched without and errors.
Cheers DanThe.

Re: Should the Pedia's move to a Different Financial Model
ScottH. Lately I have seen apps offer monthly, yearly (subscriptions) and Lifetime (one time). So maybe when Connor gets back, we might be able to get the best of both worlds. It's good that we can throw ideas around to generate momentum on this with the final decision from Conor himself. Note that ...

Re: Should the Pedia's move to a Different Financial Model
Crowd funding from my understanding would not be a fix amount and is more of a give what you can for the product. I do not believe this would be good and it would certainly be more work to track the funds. Therefore the subscription model which has been available on the App Store for many years now ...

Thanks FineWine for the quick acknowledgement.
I'm now retired but I have worked in the tech field for most of my life. So the techie in me is still very much present (i.e. development vs production).
Take care.

Re: IMPORTANT - Pedia's for Apple Silicon Released
As I mentioned in another post, a huge thank you to Conor for first releasing the beta Apple Silicon version 7 of the apps (big surprise to all of us) and for taking the time to address some of these reported issues. I do realize as most of us do that these do not need to be addressed immediately gi...

Re: CDpedia 7.0 beta 306 - Edit Tabs Focus
Forgot to mention that I tested this against the App Store versions that are still installed on my Mac and the focus does stay on the currently selected edit tab in this case the Links. I often enter the artist's websites into the Links tab then copy/paste that link entry by moving forward to the ne...

CDpedia 7.0 beta 306 - Edit Tabs Focus
Tested on an M1 MacBook Pro with macOS 14.4.1 (23E224). Steps to reproduce: 1. Open an album for editing. Note the 4 edit tabs at the top (Main, Extra, Tracks and Links). 2. Click on the Links tab. 3. Click the Next button at the bottom left of the Edit screen. Once on the next album, the selection ...

Re: CDpedia 7.0 beta 300 - Add a new album
Seems like this has been addressed in CDpedia 7.0 beta 306. Only tried it few times but so far so good. Might have to do with the site searches that Conor has been fixing from other threads in the forum.

CDpedia 7.0 beta 300 - Add a new album
Can anyone reproduce this in CDpedia 7.0 beta 300? When I add a new album with barcode 0602455919939 for The Beatles - Now And Then (CD Single), the search goes through Wikipedia then starts in Amazon US and the add window immediately closes with no result. When I open add album again, the barcode i...

Re: MacOS Sonoma
Hi Steve. A quick update. I entered a new album in CDpedia today. Everything works fine but that are UI issues in the entry edit fields. For example when text is entered in a field and you move into the next one, that text appears like it has shifted towards the bottom of the field hiding part of th...

Re: MacOS Sonoma
I have version 6.2.1 Beta 261 of Bookpedia, CDpedia and DVDpedia in macOS 14.0 (23A344) Sonoma.
So far the apps open without any errors but I haven't done any testing beyond that and will report any issues should there be any.

Re: Future Updates Question (RE Hiatus)
Hi FineWine. The reason I ask is that the current macOS Monterey Update on the Apple App Store is version 6.2.1 meaning it is now two OS versions behind. I have install current beta using the above link and noted that it was version 6.2.1 Beta 261. I will continue using this beta until prompted rega...
