But I have another question;
Will the changes I did in this way (se above post) sync correctly to PocketPedia or do I need to alter any ChangedOnDate-field somewhere too?
Kind regards
The Swede

Re: Connect from Applescript or FileMaker?
Hi again! Sorry for the long delay, but I want to tell you all how I did. You see, I didn't go with the "Keyboard macro"-solution. Instead I did it this way: First I bought the ODBC-connector from http://www.actualtech.com for connecting FM12 to Open Source Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL and...

Connect from Applescript or FileMaker?
Is there any way I can set field values from an Applescript or from FileMaker?
I'd like to set a book as sold and the sold date from a script.
Is that possible? Perhaps via a workaround?

Maximum entries in Bookpedia?
Hi!
I read in the FAQs that people have been using Bookpedia with more than 13000 (-ish) books in the system and it works fine.
But I wonder if there is an upper limit?
Will it handle 250 000 or 2 500 000 entries? Is there any limitation in SQLite? Or does it get sluggish at, say, 200 000 entries?

Re: Can I see ZUID as a column?
Thanks for that info. As a foreigner I understood the term "Collection ID" as an ID OF collections, not an ID IN a collection. One learns every day... However, that might seem as a useful way but in my case it is not. I use the ZUID number in connection with the Location to create a Custom...

Can I see ZUID as a column?
Hi again! Is there anyway that I can show the field ZUID as a column? I don't need to be able to edit it but I'd really like to be able to sort by it. (As of now I create a custom field taking data from ZUID and make a unique number. But it seems as an unnecessary amount of work and I can only do it...

Add total price to Statistics?
Hi!
I would really appreciate if you terrific guys could add "Total price" to the Statistics view.
Perhaps, as an extra bonus; Show total price per Location.
That way I´d know what each bookshelf would be "worth"..!

Scrub data in SQLite-database with regexp?
I need to scrub the data coming in from LOC and Libris, KB, Sweden. (Se example data at the bottom) I use Navicat to execute SQL queries direct to the database. I can scrub away the unwanted colons, " s", dots and commas. But I'm stuck with filtering away the brackets and text in between. ...

Bookpedia - Printed booktags?
I tend to add books at an irregular basis. Sometimes I get home from an antiquarian dealer with a pile of books and wait with registering them, I might just not have the time. Earlier - in my PC-days using a Windows program (yuk..) - I simply added maybe ten or twenty books at an evening and then I ...
