DVDpedia update problem

Hello!

First I must say, I really love DVDpedia and I am really happy to have it.

Today I made an update for the newest version and after installation my pedia doesn't start anymore!
What problem could that be? I have Tiger Version 10.4.9. on a Intel MacBook.

You updated from version 4.4.1 to 4.4.2? Could you have a look at your console log, see if there are any messages from DVDpedia? You can access the console log via the application 'Console', located inside your Applications/Utilities. The newer messages are towards the end of the log. Also, do you get an error of any sort when you try to run DVDpedia?

Same problem here, OS 10.4.11, G4 dual 1.25 GHz PPC

No error messages when trying to startup,

I have the same problem. After upgrade, app will just flash icon quickly in the power bar at bottom, but does not start. Can you put 5.1 back for us to download while we wait for fix?

Hello! Thanks for your help.
I update DVDpedia everytime it says that there is a new version. So this was the first update since the last time the Pedia asks for.

My Console says:

I use Mac Mini, Mac OS X 10.4.11 My COnsole app has DVDpedia.crash.log that says:

Thank you for the messages, it's a library (ibcurl.dylib) that we use for the new FTP function that should be present in Tiger. I will look at why it might not be on the system and amend the program to fix it if necessary. This can take a few days as I have to write a different version for the FTP that does not use the lIbrary. You can downgrade to 4.4.1 in the meantime (change the Pedia name in the link for the other pedias). Thank you for all the information and patience.

Great. I'm back to 4.1 and it works fine. I'll wait until 4.2 is fixed to update. Thanks for the 4.1 link. It''s amazing, but we can't live without DVDPedia!

I have fixed the linking issue. You should be able to upgrade to version 4.4.2 now. Thank you for all the information, if you have any problems with the upgrade let me know.
