iSight barcode reading not working in Bookpedia v4.6.2

Hi,
I recently buy Bookpedia (4.6.2) for my new iMac 27'' i7 (Snow Leopard).
Barcode reading with iSight not working for me.
The rectangle is always red and the focus of iSight seems fixed (near 50cm, I think).
Any solutions?

I have exactly the same problem with my new 27" iMac. I must type every single barcode.
It worked fine with my old 20" iMac

My isight doesn't focus when my book is too close of the screen

Please, help !

Hi all,
iSight was nicely working for me on my previous 2007 iMac. But with my new 2010 21.5 one, it does not work anymore. Often I get nothing, sometimes I get a wrong value, and rarely I get the good value. Not usable. Please help.

I waited over a year, I tried all the versions, I did some testing for Nora, but still with Bookpedia 5.0.1 my Isight does not work as barcode reader...
Any news about it?

We haven't found a solution for the iMac cameras yet unfortunately but we're still working on it. Some users have reported that scanning at the upper border of the iSight window instead of in the square in the middle works better since the focus is apparently different at the edge so do give that a try.
