Amazon Search for Book/CD/DVD Pedia

I'm having an issue with book/CD/DVD pedia in that they will not search Amazon for information any longer. I added my AWS information and it worked great for several years and is now not working.

I have added another Secret Key but it still gives me the following error

"Your [Access Key] is not registered as an Amazon Associate"

Please help.

Hi Joel,

Amazon changed the requirement to have an Associate account at each country that you want data from. The interface in the Pedias is not set up to handle several associate keys, but I shall send you a message on how to fix it.

Hey Conor,

is the solution top secret that you couldn't post it here. I try to log in in the settings but it says my Access Key is not an Amazon Associate. I tried to create a new access key but also the new one gives me the same error. I tried to enable IAM access with a different access key pair, but still the same..
Even I cannot find the associate ID in my was account, which you request in the settings. Could you please give me some instructions thanks

It's a beta feature, while I update the interface. It's also in a debug menu that has a number of other confusing options that users should not need to worry about, but if you have made it this far in the his post, here it is: hold down the option key and click on the main Help menu for the Pedia and then select "Amazon Test", should take care of the issue.

Luckily, the limits are per IP as the service was originally intended for apps, before the rise of the web apps.
