Back on 11/1/24 I updated my Intel Mac from macOS 14 directly to macOS 15.1 and CDpedia 7 was able to display its database of music that I had brought in from my collection in Apple Music. I love using CDpedia to have a fast, easy-to-access, display, and search, listing of my music in Apple Music. However, after 11/1/24 and macOS 15.1, using CDpedia's "Import Playlist from Music..." command no longer could connect to Apple Music. I can click on songs in CDpedia and they will play in Apple Music, and "Refresh Apple Music Tracks" still seems to connect to Apple Music (but of course does not bring in new music listings from Apple Music). My CDpedia database is therefore static and is 6 months old.
Any ideas? I am using the latest CDpedia 7 beta and am currently on macOS 15.3.2.

Now I can verify that CDpedia ability to: "Import Playlist from Music..." is not working. Thanks for pointing this out.
Though I don’t use CDpedia myself per se, I do use it to help others with their forum inquiries.
Since I upgraded to Sequoia 15.3.2 on my new Mac mini M4 in December 2024, I did not install CDpedia version 7 Beta 312 nor did I copy over the existing trial database. So for your query I have done so, and I can verify it does not “Import Playlist from Music”. I have a totally empty CDpedia database.
Now, I have had I thought. I keep my Music on an external HD, along with all the rest of my media; photos, movies etc: '/Volumes/Media/Music Library/Music Library.musiclibrary’
So, I am presuming that CDpedia only looks in the macOS Music default location ??
Is your music library in a different location to the macOS Music default location ??
I have sent Conor an email concerning this Topic. So we wait and see what the outcome is.

My Music file is in the macOS Music default location, so something else is wrong.

And I just updated to macOS 15.4, and the "import Playlist from Music..." command in CDpedia still does not return a list of Playlists from Apple Music like it used to.

I just played around with this and I was able to import my entire Music library and individual albums and tracks on macOS Sequoia 15.4.1 with CDpedia Ver 7 Beta 12
Using File > Import Collection, I pointed CDpedia to the location of my Music database: '/Volumes/Media/Music Library/Music' Remember my library is on an Ext HD. Instead of telling it to look at the file 'Music Library.musiclibrary' I just told it to look at the Music folder where all my music is stored AND chose a single or multiple albums or tracks within albums to import.
The Imported music will then appear in a CDpedia Collections column: Excluded or library-independent collections (with a grey folder icon) labelled 'Imported Audio'. From here you can then: right click > Include Collection in Library Then once that import is in the main Library (the grey folder icon will then change to blue) you can delete that Folder from the Collections column, till the next time you want to add newly added music from Music.
I hope this all makes sense. Let us know how you get on.

As you suggested, I tried using File > Import Collection (my structure is a bit different from yours), but after waiting for 1 hour with no response and the Mac being so busy it was losing contact to my Bluetooth Magic Keyboard and Magic Trackpad, I finally force quit CDpedia. I've changed the Music structure a bit now by getting rid of the relic iTunes folders (that took an overnight of rebuilding file organization), and when I have more time I will try, first, to Import Playlist from Music, and 'when' that doesn't work, I will try File > Import Collection again.
