This thread has been running for almost half a year without a reply or comment from the developer. Is DVDpedia still under active development or are our comments/feedback going into a black hole?

Same problem, adding movie is not working when using title.
But it works using imdb number.

just hit me too. worked fine last week. dunno what's changed.
I am using the same workaround as others, look up in IMDB and then past title number into 'imdb' field, then look up via imdb.
Changing site order made no difference.

OK contrary to what I said before, IMDb title search is no longer working for me but number is.

Running version 6.2.1 beta 231 on macOS Catalina.

Don't know what's changed but the IMDB lookup is now working for me.
At first I was using the IMDB title number as a workaround, but even that stopped working for me yesterday.
No matter what I entered I go the same result, which I now forget.
Interestingly Media showed me a list of possible matches a well that looked correct, but selecting any of them made no difference to the detail displayed.
Went to try again today and everything works.
I am using a 6.2.1, but don't know the build or version. I certainly haven't updated it recently.

Fingers crossed, perhaps it was an IMDB glitch.

To find the version you are using: Goto the MenuBar > DVDpedia > About DVDpedia

If you are using a Beta version you will notice a Red sash top left of the panel with the Beta number in it.

Version 6.2.1 is the latest App store version released a year ago. To download the latest and brightest version please goto: https://bruji.com/beta/ as you can see this is labelled a Beta version but it is perfectly safe to use. The latest version is 6.2.1 Beta 242.

The problem Conor keeps having with IMDb and amazon is that they keep changing their respective API's, four times in this year alone, which the pedia's search engine uses to grab all the info from and it becomes a continuous moving target.

Seems I was before when I posted it working. Somehow launched the release version and of course it stopped working.

Already have it. No change in syncing to pocketPedia.

Same issue with me. The only solution I've found is to find in the IMDB site the number of the film, to add it manually inside DVDPedia, and then it works.
