A search didn't pull up any hits for 'wine', so, this may not be a popular request, but, I'd really like to see a wine and recipe 'pedia. There are some programs out there, but none that come close to the quality and ease-of-use of the 'pedias.
In addition to the obvious requirements for such a program, I'd like the following functionality:
1. Ability to see current wine collection, ratings, price paid and purchase location for wine on an iPhone
2. Wine cellar management (bottle location)
3. iSight lookup for barcodes on wine bottles. This would help when entering a newly-purchased bottle and would also be used to check a bottle out of the collection before drinking.
4. Access to the Wine Spectator's online database for wine information.
5. Ability to pair wine with recipes.
6. Varietal and region background information.
7. Winery information and the ability to add pictures of the winery.
8. Ability to add tasting notes along with information d/l'ed from the Wine Spectator db.
9. Ability to create shopping lists for ingredients by selecting certain recipes and having that shopping list available on the iPhone in the grocery store.
10. Cover Flow view of wine labels and dishes.
