I look at some movie that show the banner Premiere in x days, but theatrical date only show the year.
How is that calculated ?

My goal is to used that date in two smart collection.

The date fields are specific to the day even if the day is now actually displayed. Most users are happy with just the release year shown, but you can change the preference in DVDpedia -> Preferences -> Style to also show the day. (YYYY MM dd) The settings are based on the ISO format, so you can get things like "September".

Thanks for posting this. In my DVDPedia the date settings were under DVDpedia -> Preferences -> General as opposed to style. Now the release dates are showing more than just the year. Appreciate the tip.
