In DVDpedia 5.9.2 (Beta 127) the UPC code is not being stored. To duplicate the bug:

1) Select Movie --> Add...
2) Type 727994752974 in the Search All popup window
3) Click the Search button in the Search All popup window
4) In the new popup window, click the Add button
5) Check the UPC field
6) If the UPC field is blank, this is a bug

Thank you for the details. What is the order of your search sites in "Preferences -> Sites"? It could be related to the actual site returning the results. Thank you for the extra details, will let me replicate it with more ease.

Though I notice that your UPC 727994752974 is being converted to 3760166342389 which is also the same UPC number that is in Doghouse.

PS: the Doghouse entry sadly needs to be 99% completed. So 'kennedyrt' can you contribute your collection to Doghouse by selecting Doghouse > Contribute which is found in the menu bar.

@Conor I notice that it is coming in from DVDfr (https://www.dvdfr.com/dvd/f151756-1942.html) so if OP is using the French Language version of DVDpedia it could be a bug in the fr.lproj file. Just a thought.

Thank you fine wine for helping in debugging that. I'll switch to the French localization and try it out. To be honest I been in full on into finishing the 6.0 and not had much time for the regular support and debugging.
