Outgoing email not sending

Outgoing email not sending

Recently updated to Snow Leopard and my current DVDpedia is 4.5.3. I just noticed that my outgoing emails for borrowed DVD's is no longer sending. I manually send but nothing happens. It appears o have stopped sometime after July 09 09.

To add here, when I mean 'I manually try to send and nothing happens', its when I'm in the 'outgoing emails' under 'Advance' and I highlight the one borrowed and hit the 'Send Now' button, it doesn't work. If I highlight the DVD itself in the library and select 'Advance' and 'Email Borrower' it works.

It appears that Snow Leopard is missing one of the key functions that the email feature needs to work. We're working on coming up with a fix for that.

Give the beta version of DVDpedia a try and please let us know how the email function works for you there.
