Meta Tags - filterLinks

Post by FineWine »

Is there a way to selectively add a filterLink to an Info Template Entry Tag.

e.g. filterLink by country or studio or custom field etc.

Also is there a way to selectively Turn off fields in the current filterLinks.

Or maybe in a future release a Tick box in Preferences - Fields to turn filterLinks on/off per field

I also have discovered that the "Entry Tag [key:locale] - What Amazon site the information came from" is inserting an "AU" against some of my entries. To my knowledge Australia does not host an Amazon site.

e.g. Casper -ASIN link = http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000163X5W Locale = AU

Cheers

Thank you for the feedback on the filter links.

You can add new filter links with the following (this is a sample for custom1):

Code: Select all

pedia://filterBy=[key:custom1]&field=custom1
At the moment the program can't handle narrowing the field only to custom1 (it can only narrow to those fields available under the magnifying glass on the internal search field). It will make the search as narrow as it can to capture custom1, columns shown or all fields. If your text in custom1 is unique enough that will not be an issue.

Thank you for the information on the locale. it's like gathering AU information from the Doghouse an updating the entry to reflect that, but I will add it to the list of things to investigate.
