How to save preferences?

I can export my database with books, covers,... and save it but still I don't know how to save my configuration and preferences, for example the way I have adjust the fields on the information window, the background color or darkness i have choosen ... Now, when i have to reinstall the program I have to redo one an again ... there is any way to do this? to save that prefs'

Your preferences are saved in the program's plist file, found in your Home folder under ~/Library/Preferences/com.bruji.bookpedia.plist

If you're on Lion, it hides the Library folder by default but you can use the Finder's 'Go' menu, select 'Go to Folder' and copy paste ~/Library/Preferences into the window that appears.
