I am using Bookpedia 5.4.2 under MacOS 10.11.2. Searching by a LCCN number does not find a particular book at the LOC.
1) Under the Book pulldown menu I selected Add...
2) In the Search All window I entered the following LCCN: 00041841 {Enduring Treasures: National Parks of the World}
3) My preferences are set to search LOC first.
4) 58 titles are returned, none of which are for the book in Step 2 above.
5) The LCCN Permalink for the book is https://lccn.loc.gov/00041841
Book -> Add... Unable to Find Book by LCCN in LOC
Re: Book -> Add... Unable to Find Book by LCCN in LOC
The available interface for an LOC search does not offer LCCN as a search key.
If instead of searching "All" you search only the Library of Congress, and then you "limit" the search to "None," your result pops up right away.

Re: Book -> Add... Unable to Find Book by LCCN in LOC
On the "all" search the default is title search. The program is smart and does look for identifying numbers, but there is a check that it needed to be larger than 100,000 to avoid thinking that something like "20000 Leagues under the Sea" is a LCCN search. I say needed as I have updated the next version to accept anything over 1,000 and with 8 digits as an LCCN for the "all" search as well.
