Customize for german sites

Post by Feh03 »

Hello!
I live in Austria and am registering mainly antique books written in German from my husband's estate. I don't see the site I need in the “Sites” tab. How can I customize it? Maybe there is already an answer somewhere in this forum, but I cannot find it because my English is not good enough.
(I also had this message translated by AI).
What I need is the following websites:
https://www.zvab.com
https://www.booklooker.de
https://www.buchfreund.de
https://www.abebooks.de
(Maybe amazon.de too)

I have registered 1200 books so far and I always do it manually.
I have about 1000 more books, so I would be happy if I could do it automatically.
Thank you very much.

Welcome to these forums. For the time being the developer of these programs is having a hiatus so further development is on hold, that includes search plugins.
The only German search plugin is Amazon DE which is in: Bookpedia > Settings > Sites. Remember, you can click and drag the search order up and down the list to prioritise the search order.

If you have not already activated Amazon Settings please do the following:

1 - Option - Click the help menu
2 - Tick Amazon Test
3 - to check that it has taken: Bookpedia > Settings > Sites > Amazon Settings.
4 - Access Key: should read Amazon Test Enabled

Hope this clarfies matters for you.

Willkommen in diesen Foren.

Thanks for the information. Just now I finally created an AWS-Account, but I couldn't sign up for the Amazon Affiliate Program for Associates ID because I don't know my Preferred Associates Store ID. I tried to find out what to do, but I don't intend to sell books on Amazon at all, so such a complicated operation is beyond me and I don't have the time or energy to learn it now.
It's a shame because it's a very good app, but without technical knowledge, I can't even freely edit the default templates for exports. It's just a matter of working manually as before. :(
