Format for Field OriginalReleaseDate in CDpedia

Hello,

in the Prefs I can only setting the Date Format for Release and for all other Field.
Better was, the Field OriginalReleaseDate is a own Field with separately Format. Because I can't say, the Sond xy is Original Release at the Day xy.
I buy a lot of old Song from iTunes (Hits from the 1970/1980), here I can only say was released in the Year xy.

But for the Field PurchasedAt etc the Date-Format D.M.Y was the correct Format.

When the exact release date is unknown, I just use 01/01 as a default. I think the pedias could adopt a similar strategy.

Hi,
I came here searching the forum how to handle release date format...it looks like it is the right place!
Well, I really don't mind about release day and month so the question is: is it possible to force "Release Date" field just to YYYY format?

To have the 'Release' field display only the year, go into the Preferences and enter '%Y' into the Release field date option.
