Hi there.
I am running DVDpedia 5.1.2 on a Mac Pro running 10.8.
I tried printing using one of the templates today and the program crashed. I tried another template and the same thing happened. No matter what I try to print, the program crashes. Selecting Save to PDF from the drop-down menu also crashes the program.

Could you please send us the crash report for DVDpedia? You'll find it in your Home folder under ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/DVDpedia.crash.log
(You can use the Finder's 'Go' menu and hold down Option to make the Library folder appear since it is hidden by default in 10.8.)
Also check your console log for are any messages from DVDpedia. You can access the console log via the application 'Console', located inside your Applications/Utilities. The newer messages are towards the end of the log.
